TREC Trail Safety Seminar and Trail Ride

Long Leaf Lodge 131 Little Road Hoffman, NC 28347

Back by Popular Demand! Join us with Dr. Lisa Kivett of Foundation Equine Clinic for a great day of learning, riding, and recreation! Combine this event with our Mapped Trail Ride on Sunday 04/09 to make it a full trail riding weekend.

Dr. Kivett will speak on practical Equine First Aid followed by hands on demonstrations. This is a great opportunity to practice reading your horse’s vital signs with a vet on hand to ask questions and to build on last year’s learning experience. We will also talk about what to carry on the trail, riding on the road, and items to keep on your trailer.
