Trec-USA encourages its members to complete training to become recognized officials. Three types of officials are currently recognized; Instructors, Technical Delegates, and Judges, both on the National and International levels. Training of officials follows USNETO guidelines and uses TREC-USA rulebooks and obstacle spec sheets. Most training includes both classroom work and practicals out in the field.
